We're back!

Now that our mid- term exams are over, the Words and Beyond Club is back in action! We intend to bring out our club magazine by early December with contributions exclusively from the members. For those who needed a platform to showcase any of their works, essays, poems etc. this is the chance!
After an Interaction with Mrs. Chona, she has offered to fund all the expenses of the magazine and she expects a quality publication from the Words and Beyond Club.
This is an opportunity to take the club to greater heights and establish this Club as one different from the rest, one that is here to stay…

I sincerely hope everyone is contributing for our magazine. Kindly do not hesitate to contribute poems etc. which you hold in great esteem as we plan to copyright the authors’ works.

Some other things have to be attended to which were initially planned to be informed in the regular Club meeting. It has been decided that the discussion topics shall be enumerated here for members to read. Kindly leave your suggestions and comments.

We plan to have at least one event every month to keep our club active. Each member is allowed to host an event as organizer following a procedure. Proposals are welcome which will be evaluated and taken forward.
- The proposed date, target audience, theme of event and other details that you think are relevant should be given to me in writing in school, or mailed to wordsandbeyond@gmail.com.
- In order that a schedule of events is prepared in advance, kindly send in your proposals before 25th of October, specifying the month you are ready to organize the event in.
- The organizer(s) can be a single member or a maximum of 3 members.

We want every member to participate and contribute to the activities and working of the club. Please cooperate.

The Secretary will give general directions to the activities of the club. She/ he shall preside over a meeting in the absence of the President.
The editors shall compile the Words and Beyond journals and Magazine with assistance from any member(s) as necessary.
For details of the time and venue of any event, the event manager is accountable. The event manager should be contacted to book a venue/ period for organizing an event.
The Creative Consultant is responsible for the cover design of the Words and Beyond journals and Magazine with assistance from any member(s) as required.


Any member skilled in art and claims to have an aesthetic sense, kindly apply for the post of Creative Consultant. The Secretary is yet to be appointed and the name shall be duly posted on the blog.
